In the November '04 issue of Wired, Julian Dibbell writes about the new cultural revolution under way with online rights activists and scholars who communed with Brazil's Minister of Culture and international pop start Gilberto Gil to level the playing field between the content-rich and content-poor populations of the world. They propose free access to intellectual property through free music and open source software for all, thereby doing away with the losing proposition of piracy that benefits no one.
We, at thegroovymind, say "Bravo!" to the pioneering spirits and political mobilization of the cultural revolution in Brazil and offer kudos to the insightful writing of Wired contributing editor Julian Dibbell.
